How to Hack your Phone

Ok, first of all, you must know why you need to hack your symbian phone

Without 3rd party applications, symbian phone is nothing more than an ordinary phone.
Hacking your phone is quite safe nowadays and you can done it in just few minutes.
The following tutorial is 100% working with Nokia N73 [4.0839.42.2.1] tested by myself.
First you need 4 files

Easy steps to Hack/unlock your N73

1. Download the file and unzip to your pc.
2. Transfer the 4 files to your phone memory card.
3. install Secman v1.10.sis. When the installation is done, look in the Applications folder on your phone, and find SecMan. Open it and wait to load. Follow the instruction and it will auto reboot your phone.
4. Open it again and click on "Install Root Certificate". After that now Select turn platform security off.
5. Install X-plore v1.34 . Open X-plore. First start to configuration of xplore which can be found on:
   Menu>tools>configuration Or by just pressing 0
5. Please make sure the following option is tick:
   
   Select Show Hidden files
   Select Show Romdrives
   Select Show Ram drives
   Select Show system files/Folders
6. If All ready then continue! By using x-plore
   Go to C:
   Access c:\sys
   copy the files CProfDriver_SISX.ldd and Installserver.exe to C:\sys\bin
   

Now your phone is Hacked! Thats all, very fast,easy and simple! You are now ready to install any sis file which u know there is no expired certificates,no certificate errors again! just install anything u want!!!

This tutorial might be working for other phone in the list. I have not tried yet, if you successfully hack any phone in the list using my method, please let me know. Thx.

How to change your N73 to N73 ME

Changing N73 to N73 ME is an easy step. There are two things that you need to know
Changing the Product Code
 Why do i need to change my product code?
Product code identify your phone identity. it give information about region of the phone and edition of the phone. So by changing the product code you can

1. Change your phone from one edition to another.
   E.g: N73 to N73 ME, N73 to N73 IE, N73 ME to N73 IE...etc
   
2. Change the phone region
   E.g: America, Africa, Hongkong, Asia Pasific...etc
   
3. Change the native language support.
   By changing the phone region, it automatically change the phone native language support. For example Hongkong support chinese language, Thailand support Thai language.

After changing the Product Code, you need to do a firmware update so the phone can flash new firmware for it new product code.

Flash Lite 3.1 for your N73

Nokia N73 had been around the market for quite some years. N73 has it prebuild flash player, but that flash player is quite out of date. Many new software or web site that request newer flash player to function.
Currently Flash Lite 3.1 is the lastest version, it already inside most Nokia new phone. For old Nokia phone owner like us who use N73, we can update it too, but we have to do it manually.

How To: Update Original Nokia N73 Firmware to Music Edition

f you already own the Nokia N73, you can update the firmware to the Music Edition by using the Nokia Software Update with a little trick. Retailers are just receiving the Nokia N73 Music Edition as this how-to is published, but you do not have to buy the new Nokia N73 Music Edition to take advantage of the new features. Read on to find out how to update the firmware.
Before you decide to update your Nokia N73 to the Music Edition, know that this may void your warranty and you run the risk of breaking your phone, like Darla. Is it worth taking the risk? Find out first what to expect in the new Nokia N73 Music Edition (screenshots by mukushu):

1. Idle Screen with new clock.
2. New Main Menu Music Icon.

3. New Default Themes.
4. New Music Player with Album Art.

5. Music Player audio settings (Stereo widening is super cool!!!)

Now that you’ve seen how the Nokia N73 Music Edition differs from the standard Nokia N73, do you still want to do it? If so, this is how to update the firmware:

Download and install: Nemesis Service Suite and the latest Nokia Software Update.

1. Connect your phone and wait for Windows to install the drivers.
2. Open Nemesis Service Suite and click “Scan for new device” on the right-upper part of the window
3. Click on the icon “Phone info”
4. Click on “Scan”
5. Change the product code to 0539343 and mark the case “Enable”.
6. Press “Write”, and your phone’s product code will be changed (you might think that nothing happened, because the phone is still in normal mode, and the changing of the product code only takes a couple of seconds, but don’t worry, the product code changed !).
7. Close Nemesis Service Suite and run the Nokia Software Update.
8. Make sure not to touch the cable or the phone while your phone is updating or else you will break it!
9. That’s it! When you restart your phone, it should now be the Nokia N73 Music Edition!
